The STGW 4200 is the narrowest steel crash barrier made by Peter Berghaus GmbH. With a structural width of only 38 cm and a design width of only 28 cm, this steel crash barrier can also be installed in places where there normally would not be enough room for a steel crash barrier. This barrier can be utilised in an outstanding manner, particularly in cases of the renovation of older highways with narrower lane widths. The steel crash barrier complies with the requirements of DIN EN 1317 Part 1 and Part 2 in reference to the collision experiment TB 21, and thus the containment level T1. More precise details can be found in the table below.

The advantages of the system are above all its narrow structural width of only 38 cm and its design width of only 28 cm.
